Abstract：
Various Treatment Modalities to Facial Asymmetry – Orthodontics only? Single-Jaw Orthognathics? Double-Jaw Orthognathics? Or Contouring Surgery? If practitioners look carefully enough, facial asymmetries are easily seen in all kinds of dentofacial deformities. While Class III asymmetry may be the most common forms of asymmetry, asymmetry may be also combined with II, open bite or even Class I malocclsuion. It is the responsibility of the clinicians, orthodontists or surgeons, to communicate thoroughly with the patients, about the expected results according to different treatment options. CBCT and 3D software nowadays has played a significant role in the process of doctor-patient communication and helped the patient to make the best informed decision. Dr. Adrian Hsieh and Dr. Tsai will demonstrate all kinds of treatment strategies and considerations to various kind of facial asymmetry, surgically and orthdontically.
